“We highly recommend the Guided Waterfall Hike. This was an amazing experience and we are already looking forward to returning again next year. Mark was very professional and knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed and safe from the beginning to the end of the hike. He stopped for brakes when he realized we were getting a little winded. Our safety was his number one priority and it was well appreciate. He provided us with a wealth of history regarding the National Park and the surrounding area. He made sure we had everything that we needed including hiking poles, water and snacks. He also made sure that we had plenty of pictures so that we could cherish the memories for a long time. If you are going to be in the area please do not leave without taking this hike. You will not be disappointed. Larry and Rhonda Griffin”

“Mark was a great guide. Professional, knowledgeable, engaging and personable. We wouldn’t have done this on our own, so Mark’s expertise allowed us to experience, learn and enjoy the beauty of the Smokies on a whole new level. We would highly recommend this activity.”

This was a first for my family of 4. We loved the experience and beautiful hike. Mark was AMAZING!! So knowledgeable about the forest and kept my boys (13 and 14) engaged the whole way, which is no easy task!.. We had smiles the whole time… Even with my slow pace, he was patient and made frequent stops for me to catch up without my boys knowing why. We will definitely be using this company again in the future. Thank you Mark!

Took 4 hour waterfalls tour into Smoky Mountain National Park with Mark. Great hike, just the right difficulty for my wife and I. Hike is not flat by any means, so be prepared to do some uphill walking. Trail is well maintained and easy to navigate.
Mark is an exceptional host, who’s knowledge of the woods and the park made the excursion even better.
If you are looking for an outdoor activities concierge, Mark is the man.

Mark quickly identified what each member of my family wanted to get out of the experience and helped us achieve our goals. He provided lots of geological and historical facts as that’s what my husband really likes. He entertained our two sons, 10 and 12, and kept us moving. It was a great hike for people who like the outdoors but don’t get to spend alot of time there b/c of work and school. Thanks Mark. Would definitely use his guiding service again.

If you’re looking for an informative, healthy walk through some of the very beautiful Smoky Mt. National Park, Mark was absolutely outstanding in personalizing the trip and educating you about a variety of things like plants, trees and wildlife. Including fun facts about the history of the area and more, at this price I cannot recommend this enough. Mark really takes it to another level with his expertise, even recommending local restaurants for after. (They were delicious Mark, thanks!)

We had a fantastic experience with Mark. He reached out a few weeks prior to our trip asking about us to help gauge what would be a good fit for a hiking experience. We met him for a morning hike which was more than worth getting up for. It was apparent Mark knew the trails well and conditions. It was interesting to hear about the history of the park as well as the habitat. Mark slid this into conversations without a rehearsed feeling to it. He truly wants to share his passion for the outdoors with his clients. We throughly enjoyed our experience!

“My boyfriend and I loved this hike! We learned so much from Mark, saw great waterfalls, and felt very safe the whole time. Mark is so knowledgeable about the history and the nature of the park. He is easy to talk to and also a great photographer that takes instagrammable waterfall pictures (haha)! We booked along with another couple we didn’t know before the hike, so it was great to make new friends. I’ll definitely book with Mark again for my next trip! Lots of fun and good memories made.”

“Booking this adventure was the best decision I did. We wanted to hike in the smokies but were concerned of safety being as we are not from the area. Mark is great. We started early and honestly was for the best. We started fresh and cool with the trails for us! Mark is very knowledgeable of the park and he is fun. We were lucky another couple booked to so we got to meet them. The park is beautiful. Give it a try we are already looking forward with our next trip with Mark!”
