Please note: This tour operates out of Bryson City, NC with a 4 guest minimum booking and requires us to pick you up and drop you off at your stay location near Bryson City. You get the best of both on this Waterfalls and Breweries Tour with a designated driver! This ~9 hour tour visits 4 Western North Carolina waterfalls, includes some hiking, and then stops at 4 breweries. Tour starts with a Bryson City stay location pick up at 8:00 A.M. and later drops you back off at your stay location. Tour accommodates up to 7 Guests and requires a 4 person minimum booking. Food trucks are available at several breweries along the way and Tour includes guided hiking, a pint of beer at each brewery plus transportation. My friends and I took the Waterfall and Breweries tour on our last day of vacation. This was a great balance of morning scenic exercise and afternoon excess! The waterfalls were breathtaking and fun to walk around. The five breweries had great beers and each one had its own special vibe. Mark took great care of us. I can’t say enough about my amazing experience with Carolina Bound Adventures. My boyfriend and I spent a day and a half with Mark, doing the brewery tour and the waterfall hike. He is so knowledgeable about the Bryson City area, so we learned a lot from him! He came to pick us up from our hotel (Lakeview at Fontana). On our brewery tour, he was sure to show us the best food trucks, give us the free goodies he could get from each bar (buttons, stickers, and coasters), and take a ton of pics so we can look back at each memory. He gave us space to hang out, but we also really enjoyed hanging out with him! Everyone looked at us like we were VIP being “escorted” to and from each brewery and we truly felt like it! We enjoyed our time with Mark so much that we booked the waterfall hike with him the next morning (and Easter at that!) The two and a half hour hike was so fun. We saw three falls and learned about the trail, area, trees, etc. Again, we got plenty of pics and Mark gave us a real workout! I can’t wait to book more adventures when we visit again.

Recently did the brewery and waterfall tour. Not only did we have a blast at the breweries, also enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls. Perfect combination! To top it off , Mark was so knowledgeable about the area. Our brewber driver picked us up at our cabin and returned us so we didn’t have to drive at all. Highly recommend!

We did the Waterfall and Brewery Tour and it was amazing! Mark is a very knowledgeable tour guide who is in tune with your needs and skill level when it comes to hiking. The views are amazing and the beer is even better after hiking back up from the bottom of the gorge. By the end of the tour, Mark felt like one of our drinking buddies. Definitely recommend this tour and Mark to anybody!

My husband and I contacted Mark to help us put together some adventures while we were in the area. Mark organized a day of hiking waterfalls and visiting breweries in the area; he also organized a pontoon boat rental and a half day of fly fishing. We found Mark to be a fantastic communicator, well organized, super professional and prompt. Most importantly, he is a really nice guy! We learned that he is also an expert in the region’s local flora and fauna. Mark is a great resource as he has cultivated relationships with many well run businesses in the area. Mark is very Covid aware and prepared with wipes, antibacterial hand sanitizer and the requirement to wear masks. We felt safe the entire time we were together in his large clean comfortable SUV. Had a reunion weekend with an old Navy buddy and others. Booked the Brewery and Waterfall Tour with Mark a few weeks back. The experience actually exceeded my expectations. All five of us (3 guys and 2 ladies) had a great time. Waterfalls were spectacular. No substandard beer selections. All the breweries offered a good variety for varied beer tastes from Beer Snob to Beer Lite Weight. We will definitely be booking in the future for another tour. Mark’s got it going on. Period.

Booked a waterfall & brewery tour with CBA for my husband’s birthday. We took some friends so we had the whole tour to ourselves which was extremely cool. The waterfalls were first which was cool because the crowds were at a minimum. Lunch and the breweries followed. The weather was beautiful enough to just sit outside and enjoy a cold one…a few times. No one was disappointed in their beer choices which was great because my husband is picky about his beer. 🙂 Mark is super personable and in-the-know and seems to have a great rapport with all of the breweries so we were well taken care of. Well worth the money. It was actually the best day of our vacation.

Mark picked our group up at our campground and showed us some beautiful waterfalls. He then took us to some breweries and dropped us off at our campsite so we didn’t have to be concerned about driving. He provided us with knowledge about the area, snacks, cleaned up our trash and even had walking sticks. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour. Mark took six of us on his Waterfalls and Breweries tour yesterday. We had an amazing time! He arrived promptly to pick us up with a spacious and clean car. He helped us pack our belongings, had a phone charger for us, put us in control of music, and even had barf bags at each seat in case anyone got motion sickness (thankfully, no one did). He was laid back and incredibly knowledgeable of the area. We joked afterwards that he knew “a ton of stuff about a ton of stuff.” All of the waterfalls he took us to were beautiful. There was a light/moderate hike to see a few of them, and as fairly in-shape people, in their late twenties, we broke a little bit of a sweat, but it wasn’t anything crazy and was totally worth it. Mark was eager to tell us the spots to get the best pictures of the falls, more than willing to snap pictures for us, and stayed excited for us every step of the way. After the falls, we stopped at five different local breweries, all with their own vibe. Our favorite stop was The Lazy Hiker for sure. We got lunch at the food truck there and bought a bunch of merchandise. The beer was delicious too. Mark made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and never rushed us. Overall, this trip was a huge success and we would recommend it to anyone. We arrived safely back at home having learned a lot about the area as well as a lot about all of the different services Carolina Bound Adventures offers. We look forward to booking another tour with Mark again in the future.

Mark is a treasure trove of amazing history, and information about the area! The hiking was moderate, but beautiful absolutely breath-taking views and so fun!
