(2020 dates: May 30 – Aug. 15) Western North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountain are is rich with the history of the Cherokee Indians. Enjoy an evening of legends and the history of the Cherokee people under the stars. This is a tale chronicling the trajedy of the Trail of Tears and the triumph of the Cherokee people. An outdoor drama has been entertaining attendees since 1950. Runs May 30 through August 15, nightly except Sundays at 8pm. Performances take place in the Mountainside Theatre in Cherokee. Reserved seating tickets through Carolina Bound Adventures. Children under 5 are free.
