Book now for 2024! The Tarzan Train package! The Train and Canopy Combo trip will start in Bryson City at the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Depot. You will ride through the Smoky Mountains, cross Fontana Lake on a trestle bridge and up into the Nantahala Gorge. On your 2-hour train ride, watch paddlers challenge the rapids on the Nantahala River while enjoying lunch on the Train. At the top-of-the-line, you will disembark the train and travel a short distance to a zipline Canopy Tour. The Canopy Tour will include instruction, 13 ziplines, 8 sky bridges and last about 2-2 1/2 hours in a Smoky Mountain forest. After enjoying a fully guided tour including spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and Fontana Lake and Clingman’s Dome, your adventure will end with a trip back at your car in Bryson City. Requirements: For the Canopy Tour Participants must be 10 years old and between 70 and 250 lbs. All participants must wear closed-toed shoes. Members of your group and escorted young children who do not want to go on the canopy tour can remain on the train, meeting up with the group later on in the afternoon. *The train-only trip finishes 2 hours before the Train and Canopy Combo trip gets back to Bryson City. I’d give 10 stars if I could. My husband and I bought my parents a trip to Bryson city for their Christmas present and they were able to go this past weekend. First, mark who was helping with the reservations went above and beyond in helping me with their tour, questions, weather updates, etc. Amazing customer services. My parents ended up being the only ones on the tour which was cool bc they got more one on one attention from Drew and Richard. My parents said that Drew and Richard went out of their way to make the tour extra special. I’m so grateful for all of you in making such a wonderful memory for my parents. Thank you again!!!!!!
