The lake forms part of the southern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the northern border of the Nantahala National Forest. Explore beautiful Fontana Lake in Bryson City as it is a great place to Kayak – enjoy the scenery, explore the inlets and coves, and the many islands formed from former mountain peaks. Relax & take a lunch! No experience required. All equipment provided. $44 for 2 hours + $22 each additional hour. Children 8+. 250 lb. weight limit. (if you have kids under age 8, please call.) Advanced Reservations Required. NOTE: “Same day or next day” availability can not be guaranteed.
