Book now for 2024! Open air Jeep tours in the Nantahala Gorge visits multiple waterfalls and is a great casual way to get outdoors, see the mountains and wildlife! Guided by professionals, the intensity level is rated “relaxing”! Trip length is approximately 2 hours and runs first of April through October with a minimum weight of 40 lbs for participants. Advanced Reservations Recommended. NOTE: “Same day or next day” availability can not be guaranteed. Our Jeep tour was great start to finish. From answering my questions before we booked, through out the trip including the lunch recommendation from John for the Topoco Tavern it was fantastic. We went places we never would have gone on our own. The scenery was gorgeous and the stops really added to our experience. We have our 40 something developmentally delayed son with us, this was safe, understandable and enjoyable for him too. I’m sure their more adventurous tours are great too, but this fit our needs exactly.

If you want to really see the mountains and all of God’s beautiful creation, the jeep ride is the way to go!! The scenery was spectacular and you were right in the middle of it. Paul, our guide, was very knowledgeable and was just a great person all around. I would definitely recommend.
