We offer a Great Smoky Mountains Hiker Shuttle near Bryson City, North Carolina for Appalachian Trail Hikers and more. Â We can carry up to 7 guests. Â If there are more than 7, we may be able to make arrangements to accommodate.
Price is per mile calculated from Bryson City to pick-up point to drop-off destination.  We operate our shuttle between Wesser, NC / the Nantahala Outdoor Center – North to Fontana Dam plus East and North to Newfound Gap / Clingman’s Dome.  We do not operate in Tennessee. Shuttle Service offered between March 1 and Nov. 22.  Carolina Bound Adventures operates under a special permit for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and holds Commercial Use Authorizations for Hiker Shuttles and Guided Hikes.Â

We used Mark to provide a shuttle service from Fontana Dam to Clingman”s Dome. Due to sore feet and lack of water south of Spence Field we contacted Mark to bail us out. Although Cades Cove was outside his normal operating area he travelled 80 mile to pick us up. Although he could have charged us more, he just charged his normal rate. Very knowledgeable about the entire area, entertaining, and very responsive. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Carolina Bound Adventures! My sister and I put together a group of friends for a bucket list trip to hike Mt LeConte and stay overnight in the cabins. Mark and Joni shuttled us to the trailhead from Waynseville on Friday morning and picked us up from another trailhead on Saturday morning. We had two hikers injured on the way down and Joni waited an additional two hours until they were safely down. We enjoyed getting to know what a wonderful person she is during that time. They shared lots of interesting stories and history about the Smokies, the history of Fontana Dam, and the Cherokee during our time together. I look forward to joining some of their adventures in the future.

What an amazing company! They offer so much. We enlisted them to shuttle us to our AT hiking trail head little did we know we would learn so much about the area and receive such excellent advice from Mark, our shuttle driver. After a couple days of hiking it became necessary to end our hike and visit a hospital. Mark’s wife was on the phone immediately finding the best solutions for our needs. Mark picked us up in twenty five minutes from the trailhead. We will return to do his Waterfall and Winery guided hike in the near future. We highly recommend Carolina Bound Adventures!
