Wind down your vacation day on a Guided Kayaking Tour of beautiful Fontana Lake at sunset! On this 2 hour adventure, we’ll bring the kayak(s) and Guide for you to explore beautiful Fontana Lake in Bryson City, enjoy the scenery, explore coves, and have a relaxing late day paddle. No experience required, all kayak equipment provided. Children 8+. 250 lb. weight limit. 2 person minimum booking required. Advanced Reservations Required. Concierge-level service, outstanding knowledge of the history and unique features of the National Park, National Forests, trails, and more. Frame-worthy photography skills! But most importantly, Carolina Bound’s staff are warm, friendly, expert guides for adventures in and around Bryson City. We booked two separate kayak paddles on Fontana Lake, the first a sunset paddle and the second an early morning paddle. The view from the water offers stunning panoramas of the surrounding forest and mountains. The lake was quiet and serene and the fish literally jumped out of the water just about everywhere we paddled. We even caught a glimpse of an eagle! We can’t thank Mark & JJ enough for the memories that will last us a lifetime and we look forward to our next adventure with CBA!
