Mark gave us a great mountain biking adventure and historical tour along the trails following Deep Creek and Indian Creek inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history, pointing out plants, wildlife, and old pioneer settlements as we went. Mark is very professional and always made sure that we were comfortable on the bike. A great value that I highly recommend.

“Mark was fantastic! He gave us a great work out with the bike around; I think we biked around 13 miles and he made sure to check on us along the way to ensure we were having a good time. He was very informative and showed us great historical locations along the way. When my allergies got too bad, he made sure we could continue the ride but with an easier surrounding for me. Mark also helped us secure horseback riding a few days later that was also highly enjoyable. Mark was a wonderful guide!”

  6. Kyle Swenson

Booked a mountain bike trip with Mark, he did a great job of assessing our ability level and crafted the trip to meet our expectations. He did a great job of mixing in the history of the Smokey Mountains as well as taking some great pictures of us. Would use him again for other trips if we are ever back in the area.

“The PERFECT way to kick off our week in the Smokys! Mark was knowledgeable and gave us excellent guidance on the ride. If you enjoy biking this is an amazing way to see a lot of what the Smokys have to offer in a couple hours. We will definitely be back!”

Mark was an amazing guide. I’ve been an avid mountain biker for a long time and it was my wife’s first time. I was very nervous because I wanted her to love it so we can go together but she gets nervous with extreme sports. Mark made her extremely comfortable explaining how to operate the bike and constantly looking out for our safety, pointing out obstacles and guiding us through the safest path. We’re both in pretty good shape and he just kept going as we were capable of it. He normally turns around for other guests who can’t make it as far but kept going with us instead of cutting his trip shorter. It was extremely obvious he genuinely enjoys his work and wants his guests to have a great time vs just trying to make money in the fastest and easiest way he can. My wife ended the day saying she really likes mountain biking so now I get to take her more!

My husband and I had such a wonderful day. We will hands down be booking all our adventure tours through Mark whenever we come back to Bryson. What a beautiful day it was biking on the trails. It was very informative. Learning about the history of the land we were on. The bikes were in great condition. I really can’t say one bad thing. I might want to take up mountain biking now.
