(Please call for availability. 828-569-6699) If you are visiting the Western North Carolina / Great Smoky Mountains area, want to go Backpacking, but don’t have the gear or maybe the experience, Carolina Bound Adventures has the solution! We specialize in Backpacking for families, or those that are new to Backpacking and want to try the experience, or just those that may be flying into the area and just don’t want to haul all of the gear. This 2 night backpacking adventure includes Backcountry Guide and the outdoor gear! Backpacks, hiking poles and basic hiking gear essentials. All meals included! We’ll pick a hike based on your desired exertion level, mild, medium or “let’s go for it!” All backcountry guides are wilderness first aid certified and we practice leave no trace protocols. Carolina Bound Adventures operates under a special Great Smoky Mountains National Park permit and holds Commercial Use Authorizations for Shuttles, Guided Hikes and Backpacking. 2 person minimum booking required. 4 Guest maximum.
